Manager, pre-sales team

Mar 2008Nov 2008 · 8 mos

  • This was a greenfield project setup to support AdWords customers at scale, while holding revenue targets for cross-sell and up-sell. This was a 20-member team, managing a portfolio of 6,000 SMB advertisers. The project resulted in an annual $XXX K incremental revenue, and both churn and CSAT better than the control group. Key learnings from this project have been subsequently used in other Google projects.
  • This project was conceived in 3 days, and I was involved (along with my co-manager) in all aspects, including team formation, training, strategy and metrics definition, implementation, reporting and analysis, tools development, and people development and evaluation. Multiple new ideas that were generated during this experiment were added to the Engineering roadmap for tools development.
