  • First pregnancy, the ups and downs that comes with it and the heartburn that vanishes magically as soon as baby is out! And then ofcourse all the struggles during pregnancy seems nothing when compared to life as a new mom! Sleep deprivation, changes in body, post surgery pain and whatnot all whilst taking care of a tiny little bundle of joy! Oh did I cry truck loads, both out of desperation and happiness and I'd do it again in the blink of an eye as it gave me the most wondrous joy, my little baby boy. Took me an year to earn my second and most important MBA - Management of Baby Affairs! I know I did a good job, from massages to feeding to clothing and capturing all the important milestones. Ofcourse my baby looked like he was ready for a 'vogue' photoshoot anytime of the day whilst you'd usually find me in pyjamas, drool cloths and messy hair, not to mention dark circles! It got better over time as the lil one and I bonded, adjusted to each other's needs and there was a point where I could say for sure what the cry was about , hunger pang or sleep or over stimulation or just the need to be held. So whilst this was a "maternity break", it was anything but a break and yet I've never had a more peaceful time than whilst snuggling up with my baby. Parenting is a complete life changer!
