About

After the realization set in that I will probably not make it as the 1st astronaut to set foot on Mars or a fighter pilot or Wimbledon champion (mind you, I still have dreams about it), I spent multiple evenings brainstorming on the perfect role to kick-start my professional career. Therefore, after flirting with the idea of going into hardcore academic research, it is probably not a surprise that I landed in management consulting that celebrates a similar diversity in problem solving, accompanied by an incomparable exposure to multiple industries. With ~10 years experience, I am currently working with Eternal in the dynamic space of Online Ordering, going-out experiences (Events, Movies and Dining) and Consumer Tech industry. My current assignment includes growing nascent businesses at "District at Zomato", with special focus on online-ticketing business for movies (earlier PayTm movies). In the recent past, I led and managed Zomato’s growth efforts and PnL ownership of ~700 Tier-2 and Tier-3 i.e. Emerging and Newly launched markets in India. Notably, Pre-CoVid, I also led and managed the growth of Zomato cloud kitchens across India. Previously, with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Consultant, I worked on multiple strategy, implementation and cost reduction projects for clients across the industrial goods and public sector space in India. During my tenure with ZS Associates, I worked extensively on SFE, Incentive Compensation design and business strategy projects for pharmaceutical clients in North America. When away from work, you'll find me with a guitar or listening to Beatles, or catching a serene theatre production, or watching my idol Roger Federer, or writing my heart out in short stories or climbing mountains above 18,000 feet.
