  • I was part of the Operations Development team for the online grocery business of Tesco. This team was responsible for developing new operations and redesigning existing ones. I analyzed various operations and suggested improvements to save costs and to deliver better customer service.
  • I was the go-to analyst for the Click & Collect service which was launched in 2011. I developed a store-prioritization model to select locations for ramp up of this new service, apart from doing customer loyalty analysis.
  • Improving the product pick rate for Tesco.com was another important project where I was able to deliver £800,000 annual savings through a minor process change. I had the opportunity to work with Strategy & Innovation Lab, where we redesigned the algorithm used for picking process, which had the potential to deliver £3 mil annual savings if implemented.
  • Other responsibilities at Tesco included grooming interns who has joined my team, developing and delivering excel training course. My one year stint at Tesco was a very enriching experience. I received the highest rating possible ("Blue" or top 10%) in the annual appraisal.
