In 2020 when the pandemic hit, I found myself closing up my 12-year journey building a successful fitness business with my wife. With dozens of employees, 5 locations & 7 figures in ARR now being forced to shutdown, I felt lost. So, I turned to LinkedIn to find a new path for my life and started building a network. Fast forward 6 months, I "broke" into tech sales as a 35-year-old SDR at a fast-moving start-up out of San Francisco in the HR/TA Tech space. Applying my entrepreneurial grit & grind approach, I quickly adapted to this new environment, moving into an AE role and full cycle selling. With a healthy run of success we were acquired by a talent CRM company, Beamery in London, moving me into a more complex role selling into the global enterprise TA/HR market. Joined the enterprise team at ERIN, automating and optimizing employee referral programs, internal mobility and rewards & recognition for organizations globally. Managed a team as the Enterprise Sales Manager at Hirevue, connecting talent to opportunity for some of the world's largest organizations on their enterprise North America team, covering the West Coast. Now building Neuroscale AI. An AI-driven, ATS integrated platform that sources, messages, schedules & evaluates candidates for you. Built to streamline talent discovery, deep evaluation & personalized outreach. Also, 0 to 1 advising multi start-ups on GTM, Sales & Revenue. Moral of the story? Don't get too comfortable.
