• Over the past 2 years, I have led multiple high-performing engineering teams and assumed responsibility for critical projects from inception to successful launch. As a team leader, my accomplishments include transitioning teams to more efficient delivery cadences, implementing distributed architectures, and proactively advocating for product visibility and alignment with business needs. • In January 2023, I assumed leadership of a team tasked with VTS' Visitor Management product. The team consisted of 6 software engineers including 1 senior and 1 lead architect. I led the discovery and implementation of a distributed microservices architecture around a legacy monolithic application. Under my management, the engineering team transitioned from exploration to efficient 6 week product delivery cycles (3x 2 week). We launched Visitor Management v1 in August 2023 having graduated from setting up the system architecture just 5 months prior.
• In January 2022, I formed and led a team consisting of 5 software engineers that facilitated the smooth transition of a project from urgent issue resolution to sustainable maintenance. I led this team in navigating the company out of a challenging contractual situation, gaining a new large contract. I actively participated in planning and provided technical insights and assessments. Additional accomplishments include strategically managing technical debt, creating disaster recovery plans, guiding an engineer's successful performance improvement, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders, sometimes without a product manager.
