Prateek is a Director - Revenue Retention and Category Growth at India's first Unicorn D2C Brand - Licious. In his role he is heading the Growth team (Experiments, CLM / CRM, Merchandising and Categories) responsible for improving New User Conversion, Analysing customer value cohorts, Improving user and revenue retention, scaling loyalty program while having the ownership of P&L. Previously, Prateek worked in the Revenue and Product Growth functions at MPL and gained experience both in the Indian and International Real Money Gaming markets Primarily, the work revolved around improving input metrics such as ATV, GPU (games played per user), PDAU and Retention to improve output metrics such as GMV and CM1 Through this role, Prateek has developed an understanding of user behaviour, solving customer problems and first principle thinking to identify root causes plaguing a business. Prior to this, Prateek worked with Unacademy as a Senior Category Manager handling the growth of UPSC Category (highest revenue contributing category). Worked on user journeys, mapping out AARRR Funnel and identifying drop-offs to finally fixing them through data driven approaches. Previously, Prateek has worked as an M&A Strategy Consultant with Deloitte and had experience in projects across the M&A lifecycle from Target Identification, Due Diligence, Post Merger Integration and Synergy Analysis. Primary focus was on pre-deal while working on Commercial and Operational Due Diligence, Growth Strategy and Market Assessment across Consumer, BFSI, Auto and TMT Industry Prateek has also completed CFA Level 2 and did his summer internship with Goldman Sachs in their Equity Research division where he covered Turkish Stock Market.
