From onboarding rooms for OYO to now incubating startups, my career has undergone a significant transition. I've predominantly worked in the 0 to 1 roles across various organisations. Whether it was signing in the first flagship property for OYO in Dehradun or building partnerships for Xiaomi TV's Patchwall, I've experienced a diverse range of challenges. My journey began at OYO, where my daily task was to meet hotel owners and onboard them. Working in tough markets like Dehradun, Rishikesh, Haridwar & Mussoorie taught me invaluable lessons in on-ground sales, lessons that I continue to apply in all my roles. The 1.5 years I spent there were rigorous but filled with learning. At Xiaomi, I was entrusted with building OTT partnerships for Xiaomi TVs' Patchwall launcher. Worked closely with the likes of Netflix & Hotstar in building the TV ecosystem. My involvement in building Patchwall, the first of its kind TV launcher, provided me with deep insights into product development. I played a significant role in scaling Patchwall to 2 million DAU. Working in a lean team pushed me to acquire additional skills, including analytics and number crunching, which became crucial during my time at Xiaomi. Although my tenure at Sugarbox was brief, it was the most impactful due to the people I collaborated with. The concept of bringing content streaming to rural India felt tangible. It was fascinating to observe and understand the viewing habits of rural India. Most of my time was dedicated to building a product tailored for rural India's use and forging partnerships for the content they consume. NSRCEL has brought a breath of fresh air to my career. Building a first-of-its-kind program aimed at solving GTM for AI & Deeptech has been intriguing. It's fascinating to explore how AI is reshaping the world, akin to the revolutionary impact electricity had centuries ago. I'm eager to connect with individuals who are building in the field of AI.
