Overview of the all the Paper Machines were performed with elaborate study of the operations performed in manufacturing paper from pulp. Detailed analysis of centrifugal pumps used in the Paper Machine 5. Performing friction factor analysis of pipes and pressure head generated by pumps were taken into study of pumps. Further details of these pumps were extracted from the specification and used in identifying the feasibility of the operation of these pumps. Suggestion of measures were taken to decrease the power loss and increase the efficiency by plotting the graph for individual pumps.
