I’ve spent 25+ years across the frontlines and boardrooms of India’s financial services and payments industry, from setting up lending businesses to scaling merchant acquiring, and driving product, revenue, and governance across global fintechs. I began my career in 1999 with Tata Finance, before joining ICICI Bank where I spent over a decade, rising to Assistant General Manager. I led large-scale operations across two-wheeler lending and merchant acquiring, with responsibilities spanning Mumbai, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, zonal leadership for West and South India, and national sales leadership for acquiring. I was also selected into ICICI’s leadership program and was entrusted with managing the Q-coded merchant portfolio across 35 regional units. In 2010, I joined First Data as the first Director of Sales for ICICI Merchant Services. Over the next 14 years, I helped transform it into a profitable and high-scale payments business. I later served as Director of Revenue Assurance for Asia Pacific, led product and business development, and held multiple CXO-track roles including General Manager, Board Member at ICICI Merchant Services and First Data India, and Country Head of Merchant Acquiring at Fiserv. I have led cross-functional teams across sales, strategy, operations, compliance, and technology. My experience spans complex transitions, including post-crisis recovery, acquisitions, integrations, and IPO planning. I have been recognized with four Chairman’s Council Awards, including the global Joe Plumeri Award for leadership excellence. In 2024, I joined Razorpay to lead its PoS and offline-centric merchant business. My focus is on building scale, expanding reach, and contributing to Razorpay’s journey toward IPO. I aspire to lead a scaled fintech or global payments company, bringing together institutional depth, startup agility, and outcome-driven leadership across growth, risk, people, and capital.
