• CarrierInformationService (CIS):
• CarrierInformationService provides clients with carrier mappings and contact information. Developed service to serve SLA limit's. CarrierInformationService used in-memory hyper sql database. The in-memory HyperSQL database cache is used to quickly serve client requests and avoid future calls to the source databases. New caching mechanism using Guava was developed to improve the caching mechanism.
• TransitTimeEstimator:
• A Machine Learning model was developed to estimate the transit time for Origin-Destination pairs to determine the proper balance between performance and cost. The model uses historical data to predict on time performance based on scheduled transit.
• Log Analyze'r & De-duplication Engine:
• Log Analyze'r is a powerful tool to search logs. Technology stack used was Java, Apache, Amazon Web Services(CloudSearch, S3, SQS), Multi-Threading and UNIX.
• De-duplication Engine was developed to handle duplicate ID's.
• Monitor Web Service:
• Monitoring Web Service is a simple and reliable interface for accessing monitoring data. Using the Monitoring Web Service developed automated way of creating monitors, alarms at various node levels.
• Amazon Seller’s Hackathon Program:
• As part of Seller’s Hackathon Program, lead a team to use an existing machine-learning algorithm from Elastic Machine Learning to forecast how Fulfillments by Amazon can enhance there business.
