Sam Drexler — CEO
The most important leadership skill? Communication. Companies succeed or fail based on leaders communicating strategy, culture, and change. That’s where I come in. For 10 years — and the last 6 years at Google — I’ve served as a trusted leadership communications advisor. My approach to Executive & Internal Communications: 1. Counsel leaders on communication strategies to earn trust and build belief. 2. Craft stories across formats — emails, events, presentations, videos, podcasts — to inspire innovation. 3. Coach leaders to translate complexity into clarity and focus the organization on the most important priorities. It’s a privilege to partner with teams building some of the world’s most helpful products for billions of people. My job is reminding teams of our responsibility and opportunity. Together, we’ve navigated large-scale changes, like a strategy pivot for Google Maps during the COVID-19 pandemic to help people find local health information and shift local commerce online. We’ve developed internal storytelling campaigns to connect culture (how we build) with product (what we build) and impact (who we build for) to celebrate breakthrough innovations like AI Mode in Search. And these days, we’re reinventing Communications — scaling our impact with AI as a writing assistant, creative collaborator, and thought partner to deliver high-quality communications. Ultimately, I help leaders use their voice to drive the business forward. In the process, I’ve found my own voice. As an introvert, I influence through deep listening, insightful questions, and thoughtful solutions. These skills earned me awards: 🏆 Trusted Advisor Award from Google’s Global Communications team. 🏆 Coach Excellence Award as a top 1% internal coach at Google. I’ve focused my career on guiding leaders to be effective communicators. But we all need these skills. That’s why I created The Inspiring Introvert, a free 10-day email course to help ambitious introverts communicate with confidence, clarity, and charisma. 👉 Curious?
