Gordon Thomson leads the EMEA business for Cisco. Previously, Gordon was SVP for Service Provider (SP) Sales in EMEA. The EMEA SP business is a $2bn product, software and service organisation that focuses on helping communication service providers build, operate and monetize next-generation networks. Thomson and his team identified and scaled new sales opportunities while focusing on specific customer needs across the region. He has also been one of the leading Cisco spokespeople for investor relations and analyst relations in EMEA. A 28-year Cisco veteran, he develops and implements innovative go-to-market models that accelerate the shift to software selling and digital transformation, while building strong teams and followership. By combining his technological expertise and customer-first mindset, Gordon has achieved unrivaled success in designing sales strategies for the new software and cloud-centered markets.
