My biggest lesson in business didn’t come from an MBA class or a corporate training program — it came from a local kirana shop owner. He knew over 100 families in his neighborhood by heart — their favorite fruits, the dish they’d cook over the weekend, the brand they wouldn’t switch from. He built loyalty not on discounts, but on trust. His rule was simple: the closer you are to your customer, the stronger your business becomes. That insight has shaped my career across B2C and B2B retail. From apparel and jewellery to eyewear and footwear, I’ve worked with ABFRL/ABLBL, Tanishq, Titan Eyeplus, and Udaan, applying the same philosophy of customer-centric growth. Today, I lead Retail Planning for Van Heusen, driving scale and efficiency across 400+ stores.
