Jon is widely recognised as a thought leader in the proposal profession. He works at senior levels to help sales teams worldwide to transform the quality of their proposals and pitches - and hence to significantly improve their win rates. He's a popular keynote speaker, and has published widely on bid and proposal best practice - including the "Proposal Guys" blog, numerous white papers and "Proposal Essentials" (available on Amazon). He's won a range of industry awards, and is a Fellow of APMP, the ISM and the Royal Society of Arts. As an APMP Approved Trainer, he's helped over 2,000 candidates to achieve certification.

He served as the first Chief Executive of the UK chapter of APMP in 2001-02, and is a past winner of the association's worldwide Leadership Award. He was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts in October and of the Institute of Sales Management in 2017.
  • Jon delivered the training for the programmes that won the 2014, 2015 & 2016 "People Development" awards from the UK Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) - a unique hat-trick. He and his team have been finalists at the British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards in each of the past five years.
