A proud Palestinian with 25 years' experience in Learning & Development (L&D), I am lucky to call the GCC, Levantine, and MENA Region my professional playground, working across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Egypt. Grounded with a Master of Science in Training from the University of Leicester in the UK and 13+ professional certifications in Learning & Development, I have built my practice on both academic rigor and real-world experience. In 2008, I co-founded Learnactive Boutique Consultancy, one of the region’s first consulting boutique firms focused solely on corporate L&D. Before that, I worked in different learning and development roles as an internal employee at organizations and corporate academies like Emirates Aviation College-Emirates Airlines, Dubai Airports Company, Dubai Holding, Abu Dhabi School of Government and Emirates College for Advanced Education. Since 2004, I proudly serve as the Learning & Development Advisor for RMK Experts, our family business specializing in food safety training and food compliance consulting, where I help shape training strategies and enjoy designing technical programs. These days and with plenty of grey hair, I work with forward-thinking businesses and passionate L&D professionals to make sure that learning strategies move the needle. From aligning L&D strategies with organizations strategic goals to designing engaging results-driven content. My sweet spots are instructional design and learning analytics, whether it’s designing engaging learning content and material, building digital learning tools that stick, or measuring ROE, ROI, Predictive Learning Analytics, make learning work harder, smarter, and better for people and performance. Nowadays, I am intrigued by how technology can transform L&D solutions, and since I love art, I enjoy exploring the creative edge of AI technologies using tools like Articulate RISE & Storyline, and experimenting with Midjourney, Dream Machine, CapCut, to design learning experiences that are as engaging and effective. Beyond L&D, you’ll usually find me diving into theology, religious mythologies, art, or getting inspired by minimalist design.
