Adv. Suruchi Kanoongo — Operations Associate
I help the legal world make sense of technology. I simplify the overlap of law, technology, and operations for the next generation of lawyers. My work sits at the intersection of legal workflows, LegalOps, process improvement, and tech-enabled execution. I’ve seen up close how legal teams struggle not because tools are missing but because processes, data, and adoption aren’t aligned. That’s the layer I love working on. As a LegalTech speaker and Senior Process Executive in the Legal Department at Infosys, I support teams in mapping workflows, applying risk methodologies, improving processes, and experimenting with LegalOps frameworks. Along the way, I’ve worked across the full chain of legal value: legal research, content creation, business needs, process logic, and technology constraints. When it comes to legal work, I’ve lived the entire stack from law to operations to tech. Outside work, I guide students and young professionals into the LegalTech space. Over the last few years, I’ve spoken to 900+ law students and professionals about LegalTech, legal careers, communication skills, and exam excellence. I enjoy hosting events, breaking down complex ideas, and turning legal innovation into relatable, practical insights. Academically, I hold a Master’s in Innovation, Technology, and Intellectual Property Law and was recognized among the Top 25 Law Graduates to Watch in IPR & Technology Laws. I’m also a University Rank Holder, Gold Medalist, and SIU PG Merit Scholar. Right now, I’m building a vision where lawyers in India understand how to work hand-in-hand with AI and understand LegalTech. Not out of fear, but out of clarity. What I focus on • LegalTech and AI for lawyers • Legal operations and process improvement • Technology adoption in legal teams • Legal careers and skill development • Communication and professional clarity • IPR and technology law research My mission To help lawyers, students, and organizations bridge the gap between legal knowledge and practical, tech-enabled execution. If you’re building in LegalTech, exploring LegalOps, or want to collaborate for speaking or community work, I’d love to connect.
