Aditya Vempaty — VP of Marketing
I’m a CMO and marketing executive who has rapidly scaled companies, built categories, and driven distribution to the tune of two IPOs and multiple unicorns. Market the problem first. Educate the market to build trust and drive distribution. Do those three things long enough and you don’t just win deals, you create the category. $4M to $67M at Synthego in three years. $1.4M to $17M at Amplitude in 16 months. 246% pipeline growth at Nutanix before an IPO. At Nutanix I was the first SDR manager and demand gen owner. No pipeline function existed. I built it from zero, educated a market that didn’t yet have language for what we were building, and grew pipeline 246%. The company went on to IPO. At Amplitude I inherited a content and distribution problem in a market that didn’t yet have a name. I rebuilt the program around customer pain, defined the category of product analytics, and revenue grew from $1.4M to $17M in 16 months. At Synthego I walked into a genome engineering company with no marketing function and a category nobody had defined yet. I built the function globally from scratch, created the category, educated the market around the problem we solved, and revenue went from $4M to $67M in three years. The pattern across all three: own the customer problem before a competitor names it. Build content and programs that educate the market around that problem. Then build the distribution infrastructure so that education reaches the right people at the right time without requiring a push every single time. That’s how you build trust at scale. Currently I’m VP of Marketing at MoEngage. Company-wide we’ve grown from $58M to $100M ARR. Accountable to pipeline. The newest chapter is AI adoption at the workflow level. Buying tools is the easy part. The real work is rebuilding how a team operates so AI is inside the work, not sitting next to it.
