Abhimanyu has been working in the Corporate Sector for the last 8 years. His Journey from a Management Trainee to Vice President in a span of 8 years is a testament to his hard work, resilience and his agility and ability to pivot. The one thing that has been constant in his journey spanning multiple companies is his ability to be a master of the 0 to 1 game. Abhimanyu has worked across all retail formats in the country: Offline, ECom and Quick Com. His first 0 to 1 journey started in Flipkart where he built the Seasonal Appliances Category (Fans, Air Coolers, Geysers, Room Heaters) and grew it by 500% in a span of 2.5 years, and in the current ecosystem is the fastest growing category in the Small Home Appliances vertical in E Com. Abhimanyu's highlight has been launching Electronics on Quick Com in India with Blinkit. With a team size of 3 people, Abhimanyu went on to disrupt this channel and took this category from 15 cr ARR to 800 cr+ ARR in a span of 17 months, thereby resulting in disrupting the Quick Commerce Space and building a category which plays a huge role in solving the AOV metric for the Quick Commerce channel. Abhimanyu's last stint was in a leadership role where he transcended to an out and out Business Leader where he played the 3rd innings of his 0 to 1 expertise. From building, hiring and skilling a competent team of 25+ individuals, taking the revenue for 120cr+ ARR to 900 cr+ ARR in 12 months and becoming the fastest in the organisation to get promoted from Senior Director to Vice President and ensuring 50% of his team get promoted within 12 months, Abhimanyu's stint in Zepto helped him hone his leadership skills and gave him the confidence that he belongs at the leadership table. Apart from work, Abhimanyu is all into sports. Abhimanyu believes that playing team sports from an early age helped him shape his personality and honed virtues like patience, resilience, sportsmanship and the never say die spirit which has helped in his professional and personal endeavours.
