I had my first internship in high school, working for a commercial real estate mogul. I was intimidated and wanted to make a good impression. One of my routine tasks was answering the phones for his clients. I was so afraid I would sound too young and thereby tarnish his reputation as a serious operator. To compensate, I’d answer in a fake deep voice to sound more professional and, by extension, give his firm an air of authority and prestige. My boss found out. “What the fuck are you doing? Don’t do that.” That was my first career lesson: be authentic. With over a decade as a quota-carrying Account Executive at VC-backed and public tech leaders, I've thrived on turning complex challenges into revenue. At Salesforce, I earned AE of the Year honors by leading Digital initiatives that transformed client operations. At Salsify, I hit President's Club annually, collaborating with iconic brands to master their data, streamline workflows, and dominate the digital shelf—often ranking as the top performer outside strategic accounts. I was raised in an entrepreneurial family where dinner talks revolved around customer triumphs, market pressures, and scaling amid chaos. And I feel so fortunate to be in a career where I can dive into unique problems, and deliver outcomes that drive real business growth.
