Over the years I have been a lot of things - writer, college teacher, researcher, actor, improv artist - but I have chosen to build a career in human resources particularly in the talent acquisition space. My origin story started in 2013 in a then-startup agency called AMS where I started as a researcher focusing on business competitiveness. Eventually, I moved into a recruitment-focused position, looking after clients in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and IT sectors. In 2018, I joined Atlassian's talent acquisition team to manage the hiring for our GTM and G&A teams in Manila, Syndey and San Francisco. I also ran branding and marketing campaigns to bolster our brand equity in the Philippines. For a brief period in 2022, I joined Teradata as a Talent Partner, but left for Canada to complete my studies. When I came back to the Philippines in 2024, an HR tech start up firm, TalentHero, took a chance on me and brought me in to run the tech recruitment. In 2025 to present, I joined ClickUp as a talent partner to collaborate with G&A and GTM teams and ensure that we bring in the best talents into their subgroups. My main skills include organizational design, talent management, recruitment, sourcing, HRIS and ATS management, copywriting, and compensation and benefits design. My TA techstack includes Workday, Lever, Greenhouse, Linkedin Recruiter, Gem, Canny, People Insight, Jira, Confluence, Trello, ClickUp, and Tableau. Other non-work interests include pop culture research, independent music, literature, video games, swimming, jiujitsu and cycling.
