Sales has become obnoxiously boring, creativity has been lost, people have become less important than the products we push, and sellers live out the definition of insanity on a daily basis… That’s why we need a Rebellion 🔥 To understand the movement of The Sales Rebellion, first you need to understand why I started it and the community it has evolved in to. It all starts with my Dad, a sales pro for over 38 years. His legacy is one of integrity, perseverance, and service to others is unmatched by most people who have enjoyed working in our great profession. In a nutshell: I spent my life in the shadow of one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth and his ability to sell also fueled his success in LIFE. What it has to do with me? I realized my initial calling in the technology world (selling copiers, managed IT and software) through his business and also just how much fun I could have being in a sales role. You might have heard rumors of me... back when they called me, The Copier Warrior. From 2007 until 2017 I worked for the same company - my Father's firm was acquired in 2012 and I stuck around until 2017, at which point I moved on from the company I had represented for my entire career in sales. I made this decision after my Dad’s passing (see my shared articles for the 'saddest story I have ever told' if you want to know more). I stayed in the copier industry for 2 more years before launching my Rebellion. Yes, that's right in 2019, The Sales Rebellion was born. My conquest of changing the game has expanded beyond my role as an individual contributor and a VP of sales in the technology space. Now I am teaching the masses how to be more creative, build a lasting legacy, be a servant leader and achieve more in their sales career. No longer will the mediocre rule throughout our profession.
