About

Leading the Tech & Product division at Josh Talks for the past 5 years, I've honed my skills in diverse areas including product management, data analysis, marketing strategy, and team leadership. I am deeply passionate about the power of data and technology, and how they can drive growth and spark innovation. I joined Josh Talks early in its journey, a mission started in 2015, with the goal of providing accessible and relatable role models' stories for India. We aimed to build one of India's largest local content distribution networks, and I'm proud to be part of this journey. In 2020, we launched the Josh Skills App to empower India's youth with English language skills, opening new job opportunities for them. The positive feedback and high user retention rates we've received are testament to our success. As of December 2022, our content has reached over 2.5 billion views with an impressive 180+ million monthly views across platforms. I take immense pride in the Josh Skills App, which I had a key role in building, and that has now achieved 5+ million downloads with over 260,000 paid users. With expertise in product strategy, data-driven decision-making, marketing strategy, and team leadership, I've also had the unique opportunity to develop an algorithm that improves YouTube video performance by identifying areas of metadata that can be enhanced. My management style is all about giving team members the chance to think creatively, solve problems and providing the support they need to succeed. I believe strongly in a team culture that values innovation, collaboration and respects each individual's unique input. Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic about the potential of artificial intelligence in the EdTech sector and I'm eager to continue exploring how technology can revolutionize the way we learn and grow. With partners like Amazon, Meta, Diageo, and others, we are continually developing new solutions to empower the next half-billion and work with communities across India to create a better future. Feel free to drop me a line at harsh@joshtalks.com, I would love to connect!
