My first startup failed because we couldn’t generate enough revenue… That experience forced me to rethink everything I thought I knew about building GTM! Most recently, we just sold our AI Security startup to one of the largest global cybersecurity platforms! Startups can be a rollercoaster, specifically when it comes to sales & marketing! But the journey is the best part: After the first failure, I started to question if I was even built for startups. Being a part of a startup is only sexy when it’s really successful! Many of my friends thought I was dumb… Then I landed my first cyber sales leadership job a Proofpoint! We were a public company at the time and I loved it! I saw first hand the power of channel investment, great leadership, and team culture! I went on to lead the best performing team at the company, got promoted into my first public company Global Vice President role at 26 years old and led a team of over 100+ people! I’ve experienced multiple IPO/M&A Exits throughout my career, and am constantly focused on how GTM engines can be built in cyber!
