  • This role was very varied but focused on the development and implementation of the UK digital marketing strategy. This included managing various channel marketing initiatives supporting campaign activity for both direct response and demand generation campaigns.

  • CMS and SEO: Managing websites (via Hubspot) and their SEO strategies, to increase the number of visitors and achieve high ranking placements in search results. Monitoring and maintaining websites to ensure SEO best practice is adhered to. Using tools like Moz to report and benchmark regularly.
  • Social media: developing a distinct online presence through the management and moderation of all social media account attracting increasing numbers of followers and engagement through social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. This includes both organic and paid for audience targeting. I am also responsible for training company staff on social media best practice and have a team of social media champions from various areas of the business.
  • E-commerce strategy: I am responsible for executing the e-commerce strategy to rapidly increase online purchases, including books, subscriptions, registrations for events and training. Monitoring and continuously improving the customer journey.
  • Digital advertising: Managing the company's online presence, including digital advertising with 3rd parties, using Google AdWords to run PPC campaigns as part of wider fully integrated marketing campaigns.
