Subash R. — CEO
In 2021, I boarded a one-way flight from Chennai to Boston, not just to earn a degree, but to rewrite the trajectory of my life. I wasn't chasing a title. I was chasing growth, discomfort, and the kind of clarity that only shows up when you’re thousands of miles from what’s familiar. At Northeastern, I studied Engineering Management. But the real education came from putting myself in rooms where I didn’t always belong, yet always showed up. That mindset landed me my first PM role at AliasWire, where I moved beyond wireframes and workflows into ownership of product decisions, of user problems, of growth. Alongside school and work, I co-founded and led the Aspiring Product Managers Club (APMC), a grassroots community of 1000+ emerging product leaders across the U.S. We ran hands-on workshops, hackathons, speaker panels, and 1:1 mentorship, helping students break into PM by doing, not just learning. APMC gave me a front-row seat to what makes a great product leader: empathy, clarity, and relentless curiosity. Now, I’m building Thinkverse, an AI-powered math tutor designed to make personalized learning accessible to every student, regardless of zip code or background. I joined before there was a product, a customer, or a line of revenue. Today, we serve 30+ schools, 4,000+ students, and are growing fast. I wear many hats: 🧪 Discovery 🧠 Strategy 👩🏫 User Research 🔧 Engineering Handoffs 🚀 Go-To-Market And I’m still asking the same questions: Is this stretching me? Is this aligned? Am I solving real problems that matter? I don’t chase busy work. I chase meaningful work. I believe the right product solves a human problem, and the right role evolves the human behind the screen. 3 Mindsets I Swear By 🔍 Ask. The worst answer is a “no”, the best can change your life. 🔁 Repeat is the enemy. Choose roles that give you 5 years of growth, not the same year five times. 🧱 Master the basics. Being reliable, thoughtful, and curious compounds more than any flashy title. Let’s build things that matter, systems that teach, products that last, and lives that grow. 📚💡
