  • As an intern of PSD (Productivity Service Department) at TATA Motors, my primary role was to analyse the existing systems using MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique) and optimize performance of manpower to boost the overall efficiency and productivity.
  • Through the analysis I suggested an 18% decrease in the workforce, which could save the firm an ample amount of money in the shop floor. I further identified the unwanted movement of workers which helped in decreasing the total man-hours. This helped me in identifying the non-value added activities and the bottlenecks, thus improving the line efficiency by 15%.
