• Booster is a tech-enabled mobile fuel delivery company.
• As the first dedicated in-house tech recruiter at Booster, I inherited 3 external agencies supporting tech recruiting, fired two of them (we were getting smoked with fees), kept working with the 3rd (they did a staff aug / RPO model, they were great) and started building a lightweight full cycle recruiting model and internal team (1 recruiter, 1 coordinator / sourcer). I partnered with the VP of Engineering, Head of Data, and Head of Product Management to understand their stack, product areas, ideal candidates, kids' names, and favorite Premier League teams (spoiler alert, none of them are Chelsea fans...)

• Fondée en 2014, Back Market est la première place de marché de l'électronique reconditionnée. Membre du Next40 et licorne française la plus nouvelle, elle est la scale-up avec une croissance la plus rapide en France: révolutionnant l'expérience d'achat reconditionné. Durant mon mandat, j'ai géré le recrutement de leaders en ingénierie (EM et supérieurs) ainsi que les équipes d'infra et SRE. J'était aussi le jedi master quand quelque chose devait être traduit en anglais (c'était souvent le cas).
• Malgre le fait que c'est pas possible de trouver un bon pain aux raisins, avec ma femme nous avions décidé de retourner aux États-Unis.

• Full-cycle recruiting for supply chain, digital (software engineering & product management), strategy, and data analytics groups within VF Corporation in Denver, Colorado - USA. Managed a team of awesome, genius-level specialists who keep the VF talent acquisition machine running smoothly.

• On day one at VF I inherited a major project to backfill 50% of the entire North America Supply Chain organization, and even joined and took over a weekly project call with five execs on that day (where I proceeded to suggest a major overhaul to their current process). I proceeded to build tight relationships with key leaders within supply chain, filling 40-50 reqs per year, including senior leadership roles. It was a blast.
• When supply chain openings started to slow down (nobody was leaving), I branched into some of my other sweet spots including software engineering, e-commerce, marketing, random one-offs that nobody wanted, and even filled several key reqs for the Montreal office since I was the only French speaker on the team.

• My first foray into tech-focused recruiting happened at Alteryx, where I joined another recruiter who had been holding down all tech recruiting for seven years (Z, holla!) and we split the org- she took data and product, and I took engineering and IT. I inherited a legendary posse of hiring leaders, including an amazing VP of Engineering who was, unfortunately, a Tottenham fan.
• I single handedly owned all engineering hiring for Alteryx which had recently gone public, making 42 hires in about a year, including mid / senior / lead engineers, engineering managers, cloud / devops engineers. Managed a contractor, and owned all external recruiting vendors for tech hiring.

• Owned all corporate hiring for this 10,000 employee publicly-traded company. Hired ICs and leaders for marketing, IT, finance, sales, facilities, HR, executive, and whatever else came up. Also slanged noodles for 2 days, disappointing the GM at the restaurant when he found out I was just doing my corporate training, and not coming back.
• Did some other recruiting cliché stuff like optimized our ATS and reduced days open average (90 to 55) too.
• Planned, pitched, and wrote all articles for the Noodle Employer Brand blog, Life @ Noodles. Also was the go-to guy for when something heavy needed to be moved.
