I accidentally fell in love with sales. I didn't know what I wanted to do, so I took a break from college and grabbed the first job I could, selling cars. At 19, I was one of the only women on the sales floor in a boys' club, with no professional experience beyond a few part-time college jobs. My role was 100% commission, and the only training I got was shadowing another rep for a week. Sink or swim. I quickly figured out I didn't need prior experience to succeed. I needed to learn from people who already had it. So whenever I wasn't with a customer, I'd sit next to the top reps, listen to how they sold, study common objections, and break down what made deals fall apart. Armed with that formula, I rose to the top of the sales board within months — outselling people who had been in the business longer than I'd been alive. From there, I transitioned into tech, where I built sales departments from the ground up at three different startups. I thrive in scrappy, high-growth environments — crafting GTM strategy through trial, error, and fast pivots. Over the past 10+ years, I've carried enterprise quotas, managed full sales cycles, and consistently found ways to generate pipeline in markets that weren't easy. I'm also deeply passionate about advocating for women in sales and creating space for the conversations that don't always get airtime in a male-dominated industry. --- What I do beyond the day job: Today, I combine a decade of real sales experience with a LinkedIn platform of 4,800+ followers to help B2B SaaS companies create content that actually resonates with buyers — because I am the buyer.
