• Part of initial tech team in Bangalore. As a part of core tech team, I was instrumental in ideation to implementation of various features for BuildABazaar and Infibeam. Some of the major projects worked on includes:
• Catalogue Management System - Built the system to handle 11 million catalogue price and availability updates in real time.
• Search and AutoComplete - Implemented search and autocomplete using Solr which was handling 4 million search requests per day from 20,000 different e-commerce websites in BuildABazzar platform
• BuildABazzar - Worked on converting the Rails-based ecommerce platform into a multi-site architecture, complete with simple one-click creation of a new ecommerce website for BuildABazaar.com - a Shopify for India, that was eventually the basis for the IPO of the company
• Handling everything server side - infrastructure, databases, APIs, JavaScript, internal dashboards, ecommerce
• Lead a team to build the improved Catalog Management system for Infibeam which allows better management of catalog, keeping track of when data came from vendor and when it went out as product in system, audit trailing of price updates etc
