  • Right from the beginning of the internship until the end of the DM Executive role at YS, I tried my hands on various roles and helped the company grow its content as well as the content distribution.

  • Journalism - Created content (written/visual-graphic/video) which is absorbed by the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. Video content I created has over 200 million+ views on YS platforms.
  • Content distribution - Managed YourStory's million followership social media handles single-handedly and making sure that the right news reaches the right audience.
  • Advertising operations - Managed/Structured/Optimized the monthly spend over digital advertising to increase the viewership and achieved the targets given by the investors.
  • Client operations - Directly worked with Startup giants who are partners with YS to fulfill their promotional needs. Also worked as single POC for various agencies who manage the SEO for YS website.
  • Event management - Got a chance to cover all the startup events wherever YS was involved in this duration and do the coverage of these events. Also played a key role in TechSparks - which is the in-house MEGA EVENT organized annually by YourStory, and has a footfall of 3000 entrepreneurs from the country.
  • Interviews - Conducted live interviews, scheduled visits, street talks, and what not being a part of the video team. Doing this I met a lot of big names in the startup industry and took their voices to reach the budding entrepreneurs.
  • Worked with Product, Events, Data, Tech, Design, Video, Community(operations) teams on day to day basis to build better and bigger audience for the online media platform.
  • As a first job, YS gave me everything which can be offered to a fresher. Every day started with startup stories and ended with knowledge about at least 20 new startups which are doing something to help improve the world standards.

  • We had to (unwillingly) shut down SAY in 2016 for some reasons. But it was an experience that helped me choose a career in 'marketing and advertising' over engineering!
