Dan Raj is the Head of Sales Development – India & SAARC at Snowflake, where he is building a Sales Development organization with one clear belief: SDRs are future sellers, not just opportunity generators. With 15+ years across Sales, Inside Sales, and Sales Development, Dan’s mindset is centered on creating seller-first SDR teams - teams that understand customer problems, run value-led conversations, and influence revenue outcomes early in the buying journey. He focuses on preparing SDRs to operate as modern sellers: commercially sharp, data-driven, customer-centric, and aligned to GTM strategy. Prior to Snowflake, Dan led Sales Development for India and Japan at Zscaler, where he built the function from the ground up. He redefined success through pipeline progression and ACV impact, launched scalable inbound and outbound engines, and pioneered a Partner-Led SDR motion that integrated Sales Development with the Channel ecosystem to unlock partner-influenced pipeline. Earlier in his career, Dan held GTM and growth leadership roles at Innovaccer, Adobe, and Dell, contributing to global inside sales transformation and demand generation. At Snowflake, Dan operates as a Line 2 leader, focused on scaling a high-impact SDR organization across India & SAARC - developing talent, embedding data-driven performance management, and building a strong bench of future sellers who are ready for the next generation of enterprise selling.
